The Richmond County Tax Administration Department is comprised of three main units:

• Listing, appraisal, and assessment of all real and personal property
• Administration of hotel / motel occupancy tax 
• Administration of gross receipts tax on short term lease vehicles and heavy equipment

• Maintenance of property maps and real property ownership records

• Collection of all current and delinquent property tax
• Collection of hotel / motel occupancy tax
• Collection of user fees and special assessments
• Collection of privilege fees for beer and wine licenses
